Othniel Palomino, Co-Founder and CEO
Othniel has over 20 years of experience in marketing, sales, product management and general management of technology companies. Before coming to Mine Networks, Othniel was a co-founder of Jookster Networks, an innovative company in the area of social search. Jookster Networks was sold to Intelius in 2007. Before coming to Jookster, Othniel was an Executive Vice President of Network Commerce. He grew Network Commerce's Business Commerce Network from start-up to over $40 million in annual revenues. Othniel managed all aspects of day-to-day operations including sales, marketing, product development and customer service. Prior to Network Commerce, Othniel worked for Microsoft for six years. He was a member of the team that launched MSN's entry into Internet search. He was also Group Manager for channel development of Microsoft high end systems integration channel and was a member of the original Windows NT launch team.
Othniel holds an MBA degree from Stanford University and Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from Princeton University.
Bennett White, Co-Founder and Vice President
Bennett has 20 years of business development and sales experience in a variety of industries. He has at different points in his career been heavily involved in business development in the construction, travel, organizational development, medical and software industries. Bennett is originally from New Zealand and has also lived in the United States, Canada, England, Italy, Belgium and South Africa. He brings a global perspective to doing business with Mine Networks.
Keith Mitchell, Co-Founder and Chief Scientist
Keith has expertise in several different areas of technology: databases, user interface design and content management systems. He has been involved in several start-ups in technical roles. His most recent start-up, My Types, was a search engine optimization company. Keith has also had a longstanding interest in Mining dating back to his days as a Geotechnical Engineering student at the University of Arizona. Keith holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geotechnical Engineering and a minor in Mining as well as Geology from the University of Arizona.
Arthur Mitchell, Interim CFO
Art has over 30 years of diversified financial and corporate management experience in upstream oil and gas exploration and production as well as liquids pipeline operations. He has extensive financial management background with skills for accomplishing strategic organizational goals with an ability to work well in a diverse and complex environment. Art recently retired from Alyeska Pipeline Service Company after 13 years, where he was Chief Financial Officer and Sr. Vice President since 2001. Alyeska operates the Trans Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS). He also spent over 20 years in the upstream oil and gas exploration and production business with BP.
Art holds an MBA degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from South Carolina State University.
